Love is in the air this valentines day, literaly! Step back in time with us when Romance filled the skies and air travel was a dress-up event.

Treat your loved one to the ultimate Valentine gift . . . a "Love Is In The Air" flight in our historic Douglas DC-3. Join us for Chocolate delights and Champaigne during our flight over the Coast line of Southern California departing from the Long Beach Airport.

Our 40-50 minute Flight Experience starts the moment you set your eyes on our elegantly restored 1943 Douglas DC-3 and walk up the steps back in time to the glamorous 1940's. Inside our DC-3 you will relive the elegance passengers received. Our docents will give you a historical talk on the history of our plane and its importance to our country during its wartime history. We will soon start the engines and you will relive the sights, sounds and smells of early air travel.

We will depart Long Beach airport and fly along the coast and see views of Downtown Long Beach, The Queen Mary, The Port of Long Beach, The Port of Los Angeles, The USS Iowa and other scenery. In the event of clouds along the coast, we will reroute our trip to Downtown Los Angeles for a breathtaking view of the city.

Upon landing the flight crew will be available for pictures and to take pictures of you and your group.

Our Flights are on Saturday February 13 and Sunday February 14th. After purchasing your tickets online you can schedule your exact flight time. Flights are scheduled from noon until 7pm on both days and depart hourly.

Flights last 40-50 minutes each. Your ticket is for one person on one flight.

Requirements & Information About Your Flight

Smoking is prohibited within 50 feet of the aircraft and during flight.
Youth Passengers must be able to sit in a seat without a car seat and buckle the seatbelt.
Flight experience is approximately 40-50 minutes in duration.
Passengers need to arrive and check-in a minimum of 1/2 hour prior to the flight departure time. Passengers who fail to arrive and check-in within this time frame will be subject to cancellation of their flight reservation.
Documents will need to be completed and signed prior to take off. These forms will be available and processed at check-in
FAA flight certification rules restrict our DC-3 passenger load limit to not more than nineteen (19) passengers along with a flight crew of two (2).
Passengers must attend a pre-flight briefing prior to boarding. There will be Wing crew members to assist you in fastening seat belts and to answer any questions.
Seat belts are required to be fastened for take-off and landing. During the flight, you are welcome to move about the aircraft, taking photographs/video at your leisure.
Ear protection is recommended and provided if you do not have your own.

All Flight Experiences are sold weather permitting. If your flight is cancelled due to weather, mechanical or for any reason on our part, it is fully refundable or we will reschedule

Please Note: DC-3 Flights are subject to a minimum (8) passenger count per flight.

We may email or call to move you to another flight time so we can obtain the minimum passenger counts for a a given flight.
